The very best way to visit Tokyo is to take a tour. Either hire a guide or join a tour group. Otherwise its not possible to visit all the major places and enjoy more. To utilize the time perfectly its best to get a tour guide. Otherwise you can study about tokyo's locations and visit by yourself. Anyways there are many places to visit in tokyo. But the place that i loved the most is The Imperial Palace Moat. Its is awesome. There are not many major cities where you will find a feudal palace mixed in with a modern skyline. If anyone visit to Tokyo, i suggest to visit this place.

On our visit to Tokyo we did what nature lover has suggested and hired a tour guide. On our tour we saw the palace , downtown Tokyo, and all the beautiful parks. I would say for lunch try some sushi and for dinner if your wallet can handle it try the Kobi Beef. It is marbled beef and is super tender. Do you have travel health insurance?

Planning on traveling across country from Tokyo to Kyoto, Osaka or other major destinations? Consider buying a Rail Pass. Note that the Pass can only be bought from your home country before landing in Japan. The great advantage of a Rail Pass is that it can be used on the shinkansen/bullet train along with all other JR lines including local.

Tokyo tops the lists of tourist spots in the country and it encompasses every important aspect of Japanese life. A trip through Tokyo offers a perfect mix of modern and traditional Japan. Small as Tokyo is, there are many hills, plateaus, and mountains scattered around the city.

At lunchtimes take advantage of the range of set menus that are available, both Japanese and international. Many places in the center of Tokyo offer an all you can eat option for 1,000 yen - 5 pounds or 10 US dollars.
